Sharing Our Blessings During the Holidays by Feeding Families!
The Student Council holds their annual food drive to help the St. Vincent de Paul Society stock their food pantry during the holiday season.
2020, due to the COVID-19 imposed state restrictions, a collection of monetary donations totaling $1,900 was raised rather than food items. Our donations were enough to feed 55 families in the Millbury area!
In 2018, the whole school participating with such great enthusiasm a total of 2,837 non-perishable items were donated which was 281 over the previous year's total.
Along with students and staff, members of the Massachusetts Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division also donated to the Assumption School Food Drive. -
Partnering Organization
Incorporated in 1911, the Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) is a private non-profit professional organization that represents a diverse group of attorneys, judges and legal professionals. As the largest voluntary general membership bar association in the commonwealth, the MBA is the preeminent voice of the legal profession in Massachusetts. The MBA serves the legal profession and the public by promoting the administration of justice, legal education, professional excellence and respect for the law.
The Young Lawyers Division is charged with integrating new lawyers into the profession, stimulating new lawyers' interest in the MBA's objectives and encouraging their participation in the division. -
