Before Care: 7:00 – 8:15 a.m.:
Please park on the road if you arrive after 7:45 and walk your child to the front of the church hall. 

Snack:  Please send an extra snack for your child, placed in a separate bag in their backpack marked Extended Day.

After Care: 3:00 - 6:00 p.m:
When you pick up, please remain in the hallway and a staff person will help your child clean up and get ready to go.

Daily Rate for BEFORE CARE:
 Per Child    $7.00  
 Family       $14.00  
     We do not prorate the hourly or daily rates. We do allow a grace period (see below underlate charges).
 
 Hourly Rate for AFTER CARE:
 Per Child      $7.00

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Payments: Monthly

Payment may be made on the last day of the week, or on the last day of the month. Payments must be made by CHECK ONLY, payable to Assumption School, with "Extended Day Care" written on the memo line.

Please note: You will be charged an additional $20.00 late fee if FULL payment is not received 15 days after the last day of the month that the services were rendered.

LATE CHARGES
There will be a 15 minute grace period for the hourly rate before 6:00 p.m. Time is kept by Extended Day Staff. After 6:00 p.m., you will be charged a fee of $1.00 for every minute that you are late. With the exception of inclement weather, determined by the staff, all late pick-ups will be charged accordingly.

The Extended Day Program was started in 1998 as a direct result of the need for providing quality care beyond the regular school day for the children of Assumption School.

Our goal is to provide a familiar, safe, and comfortable environment.  Students will have plenty of opportunities for fun and learning during those times when you cannot be with your child due to other obligations.

Activities are age-appropriate and are offered on a daily basis. There are many opportunities for social interaction with children of various ages. Some of the activities include: sports, games, crafts, homework time, and movie time. 

• Before Care: 7:00 – 8:15 a.m. 
• After Care: 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

The Extended Day Before-Care Program and After-Care Program is held in the Our Lady of the Assumption Church Hall.  Please enter and exit from the handicap ramp of the building.

All children who attend Assumption School are eligible to attend the Extended Day Program. The children may use both the before care and the aftercare programs on an as-needed basis.

Extended Day Care will be available on early release days beginning at noon. When there is an inclement weather delay, there is no morning care. Extended Day Care is not available on holidays, vacations, or snow days.

Pre-registration is required, although we recognize that emergencies do arise from time to time. If such a situation arises during the day and you unexpectedly need child care, please contact the school office to arrange for your child to attend the Extended Day Care Program. At no time is a child allowed to attend unless a note has been sent to the teacher or a call has been made to the school office.

The Extended Day Care staff are not allowed, by law, to dispense medications. Children may not bring non-prescription or prescription medications, including inhalers, to the Extended Day Care Program. Please contact the school nurse if you have any questions.

Since snacks are not provided by the program, students should bring their own healthy snacks and drinks.
